ABSA BANK UGANDA JOBS 2026 – SALES & LEAD GENERATION ROLE (RETAIL BANKING)

• Deliver strong sales performance by identifying and meeting customer needs.
• Sell and cross-sell consumer lending products to meet set sales targets.
• Generate and convert quality leads through proactive field sales and follow-ups.
• Ensure accurate completion and submission of application forms in line with bank policies.
• Maintain strict compliance with KYC (Know Your Customer) requirements.
• Adhere to anti-money laundering (AML) regulations and banking operational risk controls.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security standards.

• Provide timely and high-quality customer service aligned with Absa Bank Uganda values.
• Handle customer queries, complaints, and product applications efficiently.
• Escalate unresolved issues to line management when necessary.
• Build strong relationships with internal departments such as operations, credit, and KYC helpdesk.
• Ensure fast turnaround time for customer requests and applications.

• Participate in continuous training and professional development programs.
• Meet agreed annual performance objectives and sales targets.
• Improve knowledge of banking products, services, and financial systems.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, or related field
• FETC: Business, Commerce, and Management Studies (Required)
• First Class or Second Class degree preferred
• Credit in Mathematics and English at O-Level
• At least 2 Principal passes at A-Level

• Experience in front-line banking sales, marketing, or customer service
• Experience in financial services sales is an advantage
• Field sales experience required (active customer acquisition role)
• Experience with competitor banking products is an added advantage
