PRUDENTIAL UGANDA JOBS 2026 – AGENCY RECRUITMENT OFFICER (JINJA / HOIMA BRANCH)

Prudential Uganda is recruiting an experienced and highly motivated Agency Recruitment Officer to support agent recruitment, training, onboarding, and agency development functions at the Jinja or Hoima branch.
JOB SCOPE
Reporting to the Head of Agency Recruitment, the Agency Recruitment Officer will lead and coordinate training functions at branch level, including agent onboarding, rookie development programmes, agency leadership training, Pru Academy sessions, and structured zero-case writer development programmes.
The role also involves recruitment sourcing, training coordination, performance tracking, and agency growth support within Uganda’s insurance sector.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. TALENT SOURCING (RECRUITMENT JOBS UGANDA / INSURANCE RECRUITER JOBS)
  • Identify agent manpower needs across agency teams.
  • Drive recruitment awareness through social media, referrals, career fairs, and insurance industry events.
  • Build partnerships with universities and insurance institutes for fresh graduate recruitment.
2. CANDIDATE SCREENING & SELECTION (HR RECRUITMENT JOB UGANDA)
  • Screen CVs and conduct initial interviews.
  • Assess candidate skills, experience, and suitability.
  • Administer assessments such as numeracy and grit tests.
  • Shortlist candidates for hiring manager review.
3. AGENCY RECRUITMENT AWARENESS (INSURANCE SALES RECRUITMENT UGANDA)
  • Promote agency culture, benefits, and career growth opportunities.
  • Work with marketing teams to design recruitment materials and flyers.
  • Conduct recruitment engagement sessions with agency leaders.
4. COMPLIANCE & LICENSING (INSURANCE REGULATORY JOB UGANDA)
  • Ensure candidates meet regulatory requirements (ITC, IRA Uganda compliance).
  • Conduct background checks and qualification verification where necessary.
  • Ensure adherence to industry recruitment standards.
5. ONBOARDING TRAINING SUPPORT (TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT JOB UGANDA)
  • Support onboarding training under the Pru Power Sprint programme.
  • Facilitate smooth transition of new agents into training and deployment.
  • Coordinate Business Opportunity Presentations (BOPs).
6. AGENCY GROWTH SUPPORT (SALES FORCE DEVELOPMENT JOB UGANDA)
  • Recruit agents aligned with performance targets and company strategy.
  • Track new agent performance, retention, and productivity metrics.
  • Support agency expansion and sales force development.
7. REPORTING & ANALYTICS (HR ANALYTICS JOB UGANDA)
  • Track recruitment metrics including time-to-fill and source effectiveness.
  • Report hiring pipeline status and recruitment challenges to management.
  • Support data-driven recruitment decision-making.
REQUIREMENTS (INSURANCE JOBS UGANDA 2026)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field.
  • Professional qualification in insurance or currently pursuing one.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in the insurance industry.
  • Experience in training design and delivery is an added advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of insurance sales and marketing in Uganda.
  • Experience in coaching, mentoring, and talent development.
  • Understanding of insurance compliance guidelines (IRA Uganda).
