SPIRO UGANDA – ASSET ASSURANCE LEAD
Job Overview
Spiro Uganda is seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Asset Assurance Lead to oversee asset protection, security operations, risk management, and asset recovery initiatives. The successful candidate will play a critical role in safeguarding energy network assets, managing repossession operations, mitigating risks, and ensuring effective asset accountability across the organization.
Location: Kampala, Uganda
Employment Type: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain the asset register for all energy network assets.
  • Develop and implement security policies, theft prevention measures, and risk assessments.
  • Lead incident response, crisis management, and coordination with law enforcement.
  • Oversee battery repossession operations, documentation, and field recovery teams.
  • Conduct audits, monthly asset counts, and implement preventive measures.
  • Recruit, train, and lead security and repossession personnel.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years’ experience in security operations, asset recovery, or risk management.
  • Strong knowledge of repossession laws and procedures.
  • Proven leadership, analytical, and crisis management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in energy, logistics, or fleet management.
  • Familiarity with GPS tracking, surveillance systems, and digital asset management tools.
  • Multilingual abilities are an added advantage.
