Organization Overview
LifeNet International is a rapidly growing Christian social impact organization dedicated to improving healthcare outcomes for millions of people across Africa. The organization works to stop preventable deaths, particularly among mothers and children, by strengthening faith-based and community health facilities to deliver high-quality healthcare services.
LifeNet currently partners with more than 500 faith-based health facilities across seven African countries, including Uganda, Kenya, Malawi, Ghana, Burundi, Burkina Faso, and the Democratic Republic of Congo. Through continuous training, quality assurance, and operational support, LifeNet helps healthcare facilities maintain international standards of care while serving vulnerable communities.
Position Summary
LifeNet International Uganda is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Program Manager to lead and coordinate program implementation activities across Uganda. The successful candidate will support the organization's mission of improving healthcare quality, strengthening health systems, managing partnerships, and ensuring effective program delivery that contributes to better health outcomes for underserved communities.
Key Responsibilities
Program Management
  • Lead the planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of program activities.
  • Ensure successful execution of healthcare improvement initiatives across partner facilities.
  • Monitor program performance and ensure achievement of strategic objectives.
  • Coordinate program schedules, budgets, and resources effectively.
Partnership & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with faith-based health facilities and key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with government agencies, healthcare partners, donors, and community leaders.
  • Represent LifeNet International at meetings, workshops, and sector engagements.
Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting
  • Track program outcomes and performance indicators.
  • Prepare timely reports for management, partners, and donors.
  • Support data-driven decision-making and continuous program improvement.
Capacity Building
  • Support training and mentorship initiatives for healthcare facilities.
  • Promote quality improvement practices and operational excellence.
  • Strengthen organizational and facility-level capacity through coaching and technical support.
Strategic Leadership
  • Contribute to the development and execution of country strategies.
  • Identify opportunities for program growth and expansion.
  • Support fundraising, proposal development, and partnership initiatives where required.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health, Health Services Management, Development Studies, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Postgraduate qualification in Public Health, Project Management, Healthcare Management, or related discipline is an added advantage.
  • Experience managing development, healthcare, NGO, or social impact programs.
  • Demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement and program coordination.
