Enterprise Banker (Business Banking Sales & Service) – ABSA Bank Uganda

• Acquire and onboard Enterprise Banking customers in line with bank policies
• Participate in product campaigns and clearly explain banking products to clients
• Achieve and exceed sales targets for assigned campaigns
• Identify new business opportunities and grow portfolio profitability
• Promote banking products, services, and lending solutions to SMEs
• Originate and initiate credit applications to the Commercial Credit team
• Conduct structured customer meetings with clear objectives and outcomes
• Follow up on sales leads and generate new business opportunities

• Manage customer queries related to accounts, loans, and cards
• Resolve complaints promptly and escalate unresolved issues
• Guide customers on appropriate banking channels and services
• Notify customers on account status, loan approvals, and card availability
• Maintain strong internal relationships to improve service delivery speed
• Support branch operations during peak customer traffic periods

• Support Personal Banking customers when required
• Assist in cash handling processes including opening and closing tills
• Act as cash custodian and manage cash flow within branch limits
• Authorize transactions within delegated authority limits
• Support operational activities to ensure smooth branch functioning

• Ensure accuracy and completeness of account opening and loan documentation
• Maintain strict compliance with KYC and AML regulations
• Follow bank operational procedures and risk management frameworks
• Ensure audit readiness and adherence to internal controls
• Escalate compliance or documentation issues to Branch Manager
• Conduct checks and ensure service standards are met consistently

• Bachelor’s degree in:
  • Business Administration
  • Commerce
  • Sales and Marketing
  • Or related field
• Postgraduate qualification or professional certifications are an added advantage
• FETC: Business, Commerce and Management Studies (Required)

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in banking, sales, or a related financial services role
• Experience in Business Banking or SME Banking is an advantage
