Field Collections & Recoveries Officer – Pezesha Uganda

• Conduct on-ground follow-ups with overdue and non-responsive clients
• Drive recovery of outstanding loan balances
• Meet assigned monthly collection targets

• Negotiate repayment plans and restructuring options
• Improve repayment compliance through direct engagement
• Maintain professional relationships with clients

• Serve demand notices to defaulting customers
• Work with legal teams on recovery processes
• Support enforcement of credit recovery actions

• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions
• Provide real-time field reports to management
• Document repayment commitments and follow-ups

• Provide field insights to support credit decision-making
• Support customer rehabilitation and re-entry into lending programs
• Improve portfolio quality through active monitoring

• Diploma or Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field (preferred)

• Prior experience in:
  • Debt collection
  • Recoveries
  • Microfinance or lending operations
  • Credit management

• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Ability to handle difficult customer interactions
• High integrity and professionalism
• Strong reporting and documentation skills
• Willingness to travel extensively
• Self-motivated and target-driven

• Below UGX 4,000,000 → 2% commission
• UGX 4,000,001 – 12,000,000 → 10% commission
• UGX 12,000,001 – 20,000,000 → 15% commission
• Above UGX 20,000,000 → 20% commission
