GENERAL MANAGER – WARC AFRICA (UGANDA)

• Develop and execute Warc Africa’s Uganda growth strategy.
• Adapt and implement the organization’s operating model in Uganda.
• Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and market expansion initiatives.

• Oversee daily business operations ensuring efficiency and scalability.
• Build infrastructure, systems, and processes for agricultural sourcing and aggregation.
• Optimize supply chain and market delivery systems for agricultural products.

• Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing team.
• Build a strong leadership structure across operations and commercial functions.
• Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and performance.

• Represent Warc Africa in Uganda and build strong stakeholder relationships.
• Engage government agencies, farmer organizations, and private sector partners.
• Maintain alignment with global leadership teams.

• Develop and manage operational budgets.
• Ensure financial sustainability and efficiency in resource allocation.
• Monitor financial performance and reporting.

• Drive innovation in agribusiness operations and farmer engagement.
• Pilot new initiatives to improve productivity and market access.
• Continuously improve business models and service delivery.

• Establish KPIs for performance tracking across operations and teams.
• Use data-driven insights to improve efficiency and impact.
• Align operations with Warc Africa’s mission of farmer empowerment and climate-smart agriculture.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Agriculture, Management, or related field.
• MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.

• 10+ years of professional experience.
• Strong background in entrepreneurship, startups, or senior leadership roles.
• Experience in agribusiness or emerging markets preferred.
• Proven ability to scale businesses and manage large teams.
