Job Description

 
Job Title: Manager – Fixed Broadband (FTTH) – Uganda
Main Purpose
Responsible for creating and managing sales and distribution channels for Fixed Broadband (FTTH) across B2C and B2B markets, driving customer acquisition and increasing market share.
Main Job Functions
Channel Creation & Management
  • Develop and manage sales and recharge channels for Fiber to the Home (FTTH) services
  • Ensure achievement of aggressive FTTH growth targets
  • Define optimal channel capacity for future expansion
Customer Insights & Product Development
  • Analyze customer behavior, needs, and pain points
  • Generate insights on home broadband usage and customer journey
  • Support development of product and service propositions with group teams
Partner Management
  • Identify and onboard distribution and infrastructure partners
  • Develop financial models for partner engagement
  • Support development of technical, content, and distribution ecosystems
Go-To-Market Strategy
  • Develop product, pricing, and channel strategies
  • Manage the FTTH product roadmap from launch to expansion
  • Drive channel performance through rewards and recognition programs
Sales Performance & Growth
  • Track DSA productivity and daily activations
  • Monitor subscriber growth and net additions
  • Drive growth of RGS 30 & RGS 90 FTTH subscribers
Channel Execution & Relationship Management
  • Ensure execution of channel plans and brand standards
  • Build and maintain relationships with key distribution partners
  • Provide channel leadership and shopper insights
Compliance & Stakeholder Management
  • Ensure compliance with MTN policies, regulations, and procedures
  • Engage key stakeholders for business alignment and growth
  • Promote sales innovation and strategic collaboration
Freelancer & Partner Expansion
  • Develop freelancer and partner channels for outdoor FTTH solutions
Requirements
Education
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Commerce, IT, or related field
  • Postgraduate qualification (Added Advantage)
  • Professional sales certification (Added Advantage)
Experience
  • 5+ years in sales & distribution (telecom or service industry)
  • 3+ years in a supervisory/management role
