Senior Tax Advisor – Tax Accounting
Job Summary
A professional services firm is seeking a Senior Tax Advisor – Tax Accounting to provide tax advisory, compliance support, and technical tax accounting services. The role requires strong expertise in Ugandan tax laws and exposure to international taxation practices.
Key Requirements
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Professional Qualification
  • CPA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification is required
Experience
  • 3–5 years’ experience in tax advisory and compliance
  • Experience in a professional services firm is an added advantage
  • Strong knowledge of Ugandan tax laws and international taxation exposure
Key Competencies
  • Strong understanding of tax accounting principles
  • Ability to interpret and apply tax regulations
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced advisory environment
