KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop an independent PhD research proposal in:
  • Malaria bioinformatics
  • Computational biology
• Align research with AIMaR project goals.

2. Research Execution

• Design and execute the full PhD research project.
• Conduct data analysis, interpretation, and dissemination of findings.
• Maintain proper documentation of workflows and datasets.

3. Academic Output

• Produce a PhD thesis meeting graduate requirements.
• Publish at least two first-authored peer-reviewed papers.

4. Academic Engagement

• Present research at:
  • Project meetings
  • Institutional seminars
  • National and international conferences
• Mentor MSc students where applicable.
• Contribute to project reports and deliverables.

5. Research Ethics

• Ensure compliance with ethical standards for:
  • Human biological samples
  • Clinical and epidemiological data
