Technical Operator – Blow Molder

• Start up and shut down blow molding equipment according to standard operating procedures.
• Operate blow molding machines to achieve production targets.
• Perform machine changeovers as required for different production runs.
• Operate twin-pack machines where applicable.

• Keep machines clean and in good working condition.
• Carry out routine lubrication of machines and maintain lubrication records.
• Support weekly preventive maintenance activities with the maintenance team.
• Monitor machine performance and report faults or abnormalities promptly.

• Load and unload boxes, shrink film, glue, and other production materials.
• Remove waste materials such as glue, oil, and film from equipment.
• Assist in maintaining continuous production flow with minimal downtime.

• Ensure products meet established production and quality specifications.
• Read and interpret machine gauges and operating indicators.
• Mark product parts for identification where required.
• Monitor machine settings to maintain consistent production quality.

• Record machine operating data, including film weight, glue consumption, machine counters, and production outputs.
• Maintain accurate production and operational records.
• Report equipment performance issues to supervisors.

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar manufacturing or production environment.
• Experience in beverage manufacturing is an added advantage.
• 
  

• Knowledge of blow molding machine operations.
• Familiarity with Carbonated Soft Drinks (CSD) production and/or water treatment plant operations.
• Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to interpret gauges and production indicators.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
• Good teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while following standard operating procedures.
