Job Summary
Uganda Airlines is seeking a qualified and experienced First Officer B737 to join its Flight Operations team. The First Officer, also known as the Co-Pilot, works closely with the Line Captain to ensure the safe, secure and efficient conduct of airline flights.
The First Officer serves as the Captain's deputy and must be prepared to assume Pilot-in-Command (PIC) authority and responsibility when directed or when circumstances require it. The role requires strong aviation knowledge, sound judgement, effective communication, teamwork and strict adherence to flight safety procedures.

Job Role
The First Officer (Co-Pilot) works alongside the Line Captain to ensure:

Qualifications, Flight Experience and Requirements
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
  • Minimum 3,000 hours total flight time.
  • At least 1,000 hours on B737NG/MAX.
  • Must have flown the B737NG/MAX within the previous six months from the date of application.
  • Hold a valid Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL).

  • Hold a valid Instrument Rating (IR).
  • Hold a valid Class 1 Medical Certificate.
