Job Title: Materials Administrator

JOB OVERVIEW

The Materials Administrator has established material management responsibilities to perform various day-to-day activities. The role requires the ability to recognize and solve typical supply chain problems with limited supervisory approval.

The incumbent evaluates and selects solutions from established options. Work directly impacts the team through the quality of services and information provided.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

Liaise with cross-functional teams
Complete receiving activities and reconcile quantity abnormalities and non-conforming items (Overs, Shortages, Damages)
Perform data entry into the Material Management System (Smart Materials)
Perform material management activities including:
- Inventory control
- Allocation
- Material matching
Ensure consistent use of material management procedures as per company policies

QUALIFICATIONS

Essential Qualifications and Education

Associate’s Degree / Foundation (or equivalent) in relevant discipline OR HSD/GED/IGCSE OR 2 years relevant experience
0–3 years relevant experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
High attention to detail, reliability, and ability to learn quickly
Ability to work with operational management across departments
Material management experience is preferred
Strong understanding of end-to-end materials management processes
