Job Summary
The successful candidates will play a key role in supporting Twyford's human resource operations by attracting, developing, engaging, and retaining talented employees. Depending on the position, responsibilities will include recruitment, employee relations, compensation and benefits, performance management, learning and development, and strategic HR planning.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities will vary by position but may include:
  • Leading recruitment and selection processes.
  • Developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
  • Managing employee relations and workplace conflict resolution.
  • Coordinating staff training and professional development programs.
  • Administering compensation and benefits structures.
  • Supporting performance management initiatives.
  • Ensuring compliance with Uganda's labour laws and company policies.
  • Maintaining accurate employee records and HR reports.
  • Advising management on strategic human resource matters.
  • Promoting employee engagement and organizational culture.
Qualifications and Requirements
Applicants should possess:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Industrial Psychology, or a related discipline.
  • Relevant professional HR certifications are an added advantage.
  • Previous experience in Human Resource management or the specific area of specialization being applied for.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
  • Knowledge of Uganda's labour laws and HR best practices.
  • Computer proficiency, particularly in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
