BULK MILKING COOLING UNIT OPERATOR

Join our dairy operations team and play a vital role in maintaining the quality and safety of our milk through efficient cooling systems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Operate the bulk milking and cooling units efficiently and safely.
Monitor milk cooling rates and storage temperatures to ensure product quality and prevent bacterial growth.
Perform routine preventive maintenance and minor repairs on compressors, agitators, and milk pumps.
Carry out Cleaning-in-Place (CIP) for tanks, pipes, and equipment after every collection cycle to ensure hygiene and food safety.
Troubleshoot mechanical or electrical issues promptly to minimize downtime and prevent milk spoilage.
Maintain accurate daily logs of milk volumes, cooling durations, and maintenance activities.
Comply with Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) protocols and dairy industry regulatory requirements.

REQUIREMENTS


TECHNICAL EDUCATION:
Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Refrigeration, or a related technical field.


EXPERIENCE:
Proven experience operating industrial cooling systems or milking machinery in a dairy or food processing environment.


TECHNICAL PROFICIENCY:
Strong understanding of refrigeration cycles and mechanical troubleshooting.
