The company is seeking a detail-oriented Audit Specialist to conduct warehouse audits, verify inventory accuracy, identify discrepancies, and strengthen internal controls that support efficient warehouse operations.

Job Summary

The Audit Specialist will be responsible for monitoring warehouse inventory accuracy through regular audits, verifying inbound and outbound shipments, conducting physical stock counts, reconciling inventory records, and identifying opportunities to improve warehouse processes.
The successful candidate should have strong analytical skills, experience in inventory auditing, warehouse operations, and internal controls within a manufacturing or logistics environment.
This role is ideal for professionals with experience in warehouse auditing, inventory control, stock reconciliation, logistics operations, internal audit, and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities

1. Warehouse Inventory Auditing
  • Conduct routine warehouse audits to verify inventory accuracy.
  • Audit incoming shipments and outgoing customer orders.
  • Ensure warehouse transactions are accurately recorded.

  • Verify compliance with inventory control procedures.
2. Inventory Verification and Reconciliation

3. Audit Reporting
  • Record and document audit findings accurately.

  • Recommend corrective actions to improve inventory accuracy.
4. Process Improvement
  • Conduct root cause analysis for recurring inventory errors.

  • Work with warehouse teams to improve operational efficiency.
  • Promote best practices in inventory management.
5. Compliance and Internal Controls
  • Ensure compliance with company warehouse policies.
