We are seeking a talented and creative UI/UX Designer to join our team in Kampala, Uganda. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing user-centered digital experiences that are visually appealing, functional, and aligned with business goals.
Job Summary
The UI/UX Designer will be responsible for creating intuitive user interfaces and seamless user experiences for web and mobile applications. You will collaborate with developers, product managers, and marketing teams to design engaging digital products that meet user needs and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design user interfaces for web and mobile applications
- Conduct user research and gather insights to improve usability
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups
- Improve user experience based on feedback and analytics
- Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs
- Maintain design consistency using style guides and design systems
- Stay updated with modern UI/UX trends and best practices
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in UI/UX Design
- Strong portfolio showcasing UI/UX projects (required)
- Proficiency in tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar
- Good understanding of user-centered design principles
- Experience designing for both mobile and web platforms
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work full-time in Kampala
