Job Summary
C-Care Uganda is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Supply Chain Officer – Data Analytics & Operations to support supply chain operations through data analysis, forecasting, reporting, master data management, supplier contract monitoring, and process improvement initiatives.
The successful candidate will ensure the accuracy of supply chain data, provide actionable business insights, monitor supplier performance and pricing, support inventory planning, and contribute to operational excellence by improving supply chain systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Reporting
Analyze supply chain data to identify operational trends, performance gaps, business risks, and improvement opportunities.
Develop, maintain, and distribute regular operational and management reports while creating dashboards and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reports that support strategic decision-making.
Provide ad hoc reports and analytical support to management as required.
Master Data Management
Maintain accurate and reliable supply chain master data, including supplier information, product records, pricing data, and inventory details.
Conduct regular data validation and audits to ensure compliance with organizational standards and coordinate with relevant departments to maintain updated records.
Forecasting & Consumption Analysis
Monitor forecasted demand against actual consumption and analyze variances to improve forecasting accuracy.
Support inventory planning and replenishment activities through data-driven recommendations while assisting in the development of demand planning models and forecasting methodologies.
Price Monitoring & Cost Analysis
Monitor supplier pricing changes and assess their impact on procurement budgets and operational costs.
Maintain pricing databases, update approved price adjustments within company systems, conduct cost analysis, and support initiatives aimed at reducing procurement and supply chain costs.
Supplier Contract Monitoring
Maintain a centralized repository of supplier contracts and commercial agreements.
Monitor contract expiry dates, pricing agreements, service level commitments, compliance requirements, and supplier performance while generating reports that support contract renewals and supplier evaluations.
Supply Chain Projects & Process Improvement
Lead the implementation and ongoing management of the organization's roll file process and other supply chain improvement initiatives.
Support the deployment of new supply chain systems, digital tools, and operational enhancements while identifying automation opportunities that improve efficiency and productivity.
Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to promote consistency across supply chain operations.

Operational Supply Chain Support
Provide operational support across procurement, logistics, warehouse, and inventory management functions.
Assist in resolving issues related to stock availability, supplier performance, inventory discrepancies, and supply chain data while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of daily operations.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and organizational projects that strengthen supply chain performance.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Procurement, Data Analytics, Finance, or a related field.

Experience
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, inventory management, or data analysis roles.
  • Experience working with ERP systems and supply chain management software.
  • Experience in reporting, forecasting, supplier management, and operational analytics is highly preferred.

Skills and Competencies
The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex supply chain data and translate findings into actionable business recommendations.
Applicants should demonstrate proficiency in ERP systems, reporting tools, data visualization, forecasting techniques, inventory analysis, and supply chain performance management.
Strong communication, organizational, stakeholder management, and attention-to-detail skills are essential. The successful candidate should also possess the ability to work collaboratively across departments, manage multiple priorities, and contribute to continuous operational improvement.
