Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procedures for inspection and reporting of quality issues.
• Monitor operational activities affecting quality performance.
• Ensure compliance with:
  • Quality standards.
  • Project specifications.
  • Regulatory requirements.
  • Company Quality Management Systems.
• Maintain reliability and consistency of project processes through quality checks.
• Review existing quality standards and recommend improvements.

• Supervise quality inspections across project activities.
• Guide inspectors, technicians, and project teams on quality requirements.
• Monitor project activities to ensure compliance with approved procedures.
• Identify quality issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Report operational failures and quality concerns to the Project Manager.

• Maintain quality records including:
  • Inspection reports.
  • Quality audits.
  • Statistical reviews.
  • Corrective action reports.
  • Quality documentation.
• Ensure all quality-related documentation is accurate and updated.
• Maintain auditing and monitoring systems in line with quality regulations and standards.

• Conduct internal quality audits.
• Support external inspections and assessments.
• Liaise with external Quality Assurance Officers during site inspections.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory quality requirements.
• Promote implementation of:
  • ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
  • ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems.
  • OHSAS 18001 Occupational Health and Safety Systems.

• Collect and analyze quality performance data.
• Develop proactive solutions to improve project quality.
• Promote quality awareness throughout the organization.
• Encourage employee participation in:
  • Environment management.
  • Health and safety practices.
  • Quality improvement initiatives.

• Prepare timely daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports.
• Participate in quality meetings and management reviews.
• Monitor customer satisfaction levels.
• Track quality complaints and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Support achievement of project quality targets.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree in:
  • Environmental Science
  • Engineering
  • Quality Management
  • A related field

• ISO 9001 Auditor Certificate.
• Quality Management certification.
• Equivalent recognized quality assurance qualification.

Professional Experience

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar QA/QC management role.
• Experience managing quality systems in:
  • Waste management.
  • Engineering projects.
  • Construction.
  • Industrial operations.
  • Environmental projects.

• Strong knowledge of QA/QC methodologies.
• Understanding of quality inspection processes.
