About the Programme

The Stanbic for Her initiative is a financial inclusion programme implemented by Stanbic Bank Uganda with support from development partners. It is designed to empower women by expanding access to financial services, digital banking tools, credit facilities, savings products, insurance, and business development support.
The programme aims to reach over 1.5 million women across Uganda through structured financial solutions that support entrepreneurship, income generation, and long-term economic empowerment.

Position Overview

True North Uganda is recruiting a highly skilled and results-oriented Project Coordinator – Sales Acquisition & Project Implementation.
This role combines sales leadership, client onboarding, project coordination, and stakeholder management. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving customer acquisition, supporting financial inclusion targets, and ensuring smooth implementation of programme activities across field teams.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales Acquisition & Growth
  • Lead acquisition of women clients into the Stanbic ecosystem
  • Drive account opening for individuals and groups
  • Promote digital banking adoption including FlexiPay and merchant solutions
  • Support SACCO digitization and SME onboarding
  • Achieve sales, activation, and retention targets
2. Project Implementation
  • Coordinate execution of field and programme activities
  • Supervise project officers and implementation teams
  • Ensure delivery of project milestones and timelines
  • Support planning, reporting, and performance tracking
  • Ensure compliance with donor and bank requirements
3. Financial Inclusion & Community Engagement
  • Mobilize women groups, SACCOs, and SMEs
  • Promote access to savings, credit, and insurance products
  • Support financial literacy and business growth initiatives
  • Strengthen women’s participation in digital financial systems
4. Monitoring & Reporting
  • Track project performance and sales indicators
  • Support data collection and reporting systems
  • Prepare regular performance and progress reports
  • Ensure data accuracy and accountability in reporting

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Number of women onboarded into financial services
  • Number of accounts opened (individual and group)
  • Number of digital wallets activated
  • Loan uptake and portfolio growth
  • Customer retention and usage rates
  • Timely submission of project reports
  • Achievement of project milestones

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Finance, Economics, Marketing, Project Management, Development Studies, or related field
  • 2–4 years’ experience in banking, sales, financial services, or business development
  • Experience in customer acquisition and portfolio management
  • Experience working with women groups, SACCOs, or SMEs is an advantage
  • Experience in project coordination or field-based programmes is desirable
